This weekend-long event will include a stacked lineup of entertainment for the entire family including three days of organized mountain biking for all skill levels, Vermont’s first ever downhill critical mass ride, onsite camping, vendor garden, bike swap, craft beer garden, whip-off competition, skinny bridge pond-cross challenge and live music from The CopOuts, the “house band of mountain biking.”

“Our goal is to throw the largest downhill oriented bike festival the east coast has ever seen,” says Vermont Bike & Brew organizer Ryan Thibault. “Between Killington’s expansive trail network, on-site camping, and Vermont’s finest beer garden constructed on site, we guarantee a festival like no other. And everyone is invited. Pro rider? Sure. Never ridden? Kids in tow? Even better. We’re ready for you!”

FRIDAY: The Vermont Bike & Brew event programming will kick off on Friday, June 9th with a pre-registration party and lifts spinning for festival attendees to enjoy a private Killington Bike Park session from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Dusk brings a locals night ride tour of Pittsfield’s Green Mountain Trails followed by an evening around the campfire at the Vale Lot camping area.

SATURDAY: Saturday morning includes a special “Kegs n’ Eggs” breakfast followed the 10:30am critical mass ride hosted by Redbull/GoPro pro-rider Aaron Chase. Follow Aaron from the top of Rams Head in the largest downhill train of riders Vermont has ever seen.

Hey Ladies! Killington Divas of Dirt, our killer community of lady rippers, invites all fellow female riders to join some fun women-focused activities throughout the weekend including fun laps around the bike park.

What’s a “skinny bridge pond-cross challenge” you ask? Join the madness or spectate on Saturday afternoon as riders test their balance on a floating skinny bridge strung across Killington’s Snowshed Pond.

Following the pond-cross, an open entry whip-off competition will be held adjacent to the beer garden.

MTBVT and Killington Resort are curating a tap list to please the most discerning beer nerds, and beer tickets are included with registration.

SUNDAY: To wrap up the weekend’s programming, Sunday morning brings an additional day of riding kicked off by the MTBVT “Recovery Ride” for those that didn’t (and those who did) get their fill along with the Fox ProFrame Demo Tour.

Plus, all weekend long, The Beast of a Bike Swap will be happening at Killington Resort featuring deals on new and used bikes from area shops and private sellers, and bike drop-offs are welcome.
