Race report: Mountain Creek Pro GRT DH and Super D
Mountain Creek Spring Classic Weekend has been on my mind for the past year. I went for Redmeption to compete in my first ProGRT DH race that was denied last year due to an off course accident that left me with fractures in both arms. This year they added a Super D race, which gave me the opportunity to put my new Xprezo Super D to the test, and try a new kind of racing. The Super D event was on Saturday, a mass start for a 6 mile course, primarily DH, with 4 small climbs and some flat sprints. The bike was perfect and it was a fun and enjoyable event. The Pro womens field was small, and taking the win went smoothly.

The DH course was very similar to last year, super fun, with the addition of a 38 foot step down at the end of the course. Rain on Saturday night and drizzle all day Sunday made it interesting, however the course and scene kept me stoked and my second place finish on my old Scott Gambler with a single crown fork had me smiling. A double podium weekend and bringing home $ is just the momentum needed for a killer season!

Race report: Plattekill Super D
Well, Plattekill was interesting, rain, snow, sleet, and bone chilling wind! Super fun Super D course and an easy win and good training. I didn’t end up staying for the DH, which looked like a great course, albeit super gnarly with deep mud, wet rocks and roots!
