In October Highland and Cannondale introduced the North America to enduro racing. Differing from traditional races, the enduro encompasses multiple legs or stages that push riders in all disciplines from thundering downhills to epic climbs. And the entire race is conducted on a single bike. MTBVT was on the scene and helped produce the following vid.
Vermont was well represented at the event with Alison Zimmer taking second in the women’s pro catagory, Cameron Cook taking 1st for men’s am’ 30+ , Brooke Scatchard earning 1st in men’s am’ 19-29yrs old class, and yound Dylan Conte with a second place in the 18 and under category. Go VT!
As most leisure rides in Vermont follow much the same multi-disciplinary format, I can see our brothers and sisters continuing to dominate these events in the future. Congrats guys!
