Fun and Scenic Rides – Evening Meal – Night Ride – Contests and Prizes
The Stowe Mountain Bike Club is stoked to announce the first annual Leaf Blower “Soon to be classic fall rideâ€. The highlight of the event will be an epic ride led on some of Stowe’s most exciting and scenic trails. Whether you are sprinter who rides everyday, a weekend warrior, or a leisurely rider, there will be a group for you! Groups will leave in stages and ride the same route, taking a break in the middle to refuel on energy grub and water before charging back to town!
Once we’re back in town and everyone’s legs are fried, the fun really begins. Frida’s will be catering a delicious hot meal with both meat and veggie options, as well as hearty deserts provided by the club. While eating, live music will be on site as well! After folks are stuffed the night ride begins. Multiple groups will head into the townloops for a quick 30-minute ride. Costumes are encouraged, and lights are required. Upon returning there will be harvest and mountain bike related contests with the opportunity to win prizes from the club and our sponsors.
Your $25.00 ticket gets you admission, a T-Shirt (when pre-registered online), mid-ride energy food and drink, and dinner. Proceeds will go towards the SMBC’s ongoing trail maintenance and construction work. For questions or additional information please contact jon@stowemountainbike.com
