Through The Fall

You may have noticed quite a bit of chatter about Alex on our site lately. That’s because we love the kid. Here’s a lil write-up by Alex and a few behind the scenes photos from the days shoots. Enjoy! And give Alex a high five when you see him… if you can catch him.

It wasn’t until I began traveling the U.S in search of podium glory and races that I realized how lucky I am to call Vermont home. The trails here in Vermont are an incredible mix of old school roots and rocks, tacky dirt, and high-speed flow. Fall in Vermont is beautiful and makes riding here that much more enjoyable. As winter draws near and threatens an end to trail riding, everyone gets out taking advantage of the crisp, cool, and colorful days. After a full season of riding and racing, when your skills are at a peak, there is nothing better than riding your local trails with friends at full throttle!

Around mid September, Henry Miles of Skyline Studios approached me with the idea of an edit showcasing fall riding in Vermont. I was stoked. We began the filming process in late September and managed to squeeze four days of filming in between school and work. With this edit, we really wanted to show the rest of the riding population what Vermont has to offer and how much fun our local trails are.

Although bike films with massive stunts and intense tunes are rad, I’ve always enjoyed movies with a fun vibe that simply get you excited to go ride. That was another one of our goals with this edit. Just like artists and musicians interpret their work, it is completely up to you to interpret and ride the trail ahead. I hope this little edit gets you as stoked as we are to pull out your bike and go pin your local trails one more time before the snow falls.

The featured trail networks are Kingdom Trails in East Burke, Perry Hill in Waterbury, and Cady’s Falls in Morrisville, VT.
